We are a supportive housing non-profit that is working on improving community health and access to food through the development of a one-acre youth-run urban farm. We are hoping to incorporate a "green barn" or similar structure to store our equipment, have a small office space, areas for washing and processing the produce, and potentially a root cellar. We are also looking to weave this structure into an outdoor teaching and eating area. This project is community based and we are looking for someone willing to dialogue with the youth involved as well as consider designs that youth could assist in building.
Hoping to break ground by the fall.
