Design Disciplines Needed
We are seeking someone to design updated student storage facilities. I envision using the space from the existing closets and removing the old, destroyed doors and creating a space that is renovated and visually aesthetic. We could potentially put in new doors or some other form of partition. We are looking for someone to help us with identifying several options from which we can select. We are also looking for someone that will be able to convert the space in an efficient and effective manner.
I.S. 68 is a middle school located in Canarsie, Brooklyn. We are a school in transition and looking to expand our instructional offerings as well as enhance our learning environment. Our Building was erected in the nineteen-sixties and is need of a make-over. We have a fabulous community and an amazing student body. We are a welcoming and nurturing learning community and always strive to provide the best for our students.
Many of our classrooms are old and dilapidated. We would like to recondition our storage areas (closets), and provide a space where students can securely leave their belongings throughout the day. Our plan is to use Charter school match funds to purchase the required materials needed for this project. We're looking for someone who can help us with some great design ideas to assist in completing this project.
