ENERGY STAR Verification
Design Disciplines Needed
We are requesting a registered architect or professional engineer to follow EPA expectations as outlined in the ENERGY STAR Licensed Professional Guide (www.energystar.gov/LPGuide).
We are a church seeking to gain Energy Star certification. We have reached a score of 78, but we need assistance verifying that our data is accurate and that we are eligible for certification.
We participated in a congregational pilot project within our denomination to improve the energy efficiency of our church building. We worked hard to improve the energy efficiency of our church as one way that we can tangibly respond to God's call to care for creation. As part of the pilot project, we took several steps to improve our energy efficiency (LED light bulbs, motion sensor lights, insulated roof, new boiler, etc.), and we recently achieved a score that makes us eligible to become Energy Star certified.
