The "College Socka Bongue"(CSB) is a private secondary school and was founded in 1972 by Socka Bongue, the father of Philippe Socka, who is currently the president and founder of Manengouba Foundation. In 2001, after Socka Bongue passed away, the school has fallen into great decay due to lack of leadership, innovation, fund and local poverty. Our intention is to seek assistance from an architect firm that would contribute redesigning the school and include modern art technology for education in order to facilitate Manengouba to conduct its community and educational programs and activities on the school's site.
The school serves approximately 800 students annually in 45 classrooms. The school facilities include five separate buildings, a small residence hall, an out to date library and an inadequate sport complex (tennis, handball, basketball, volleyball).
The programs and activities, however, will not be limited to students or teachers associated with the School; rather, Manengouba's programs and activities will be offered to anyone in the Nkongsamba community. To the extent it is necessary to conduct its programs and activities, Manengouba will provide equipment that will be used at the School's facilities (for example, computers, internet connection, books, sports equipment, etc.).
