Active Voice in SOMA
Interior Design & Brand Integration
At Active Voice, we know a lot about film and social action, and practically nothing about interior design. In early June, 2012, we'll move into a quirky space in SOMA. A few hours of inspiration with a designer now will help us create the optimal environment so Active Voice can thrive, grow and make the world a better place. Could we be part of your 1% donation?
MORE ABOUT ACTIVE VOICE'S MOVE:
A squat, externally nondescript building on tiny Zoe Street (an alley between 3rd & 4th Streets, and Brannan & Bryant Streets), our ~ 2400 sq/foot new home is as quirky as Active Voice is. Located on the ground floor, the low, open frame ceilings recall its meat-packing district, post-earthquake origins. How can color and texture help us define our space? Given current structures, where will people gather? Can our identity be echoed in the way we exhibit our work with films like "Food, Inc.", "The Visitor", "Waiting for 'Superman'" and other AV projects?
We would love to work with a firm as soon as possible. We are poised to sign a deal with a contractor to build three private offices the third week in May, and we must make palette/paint decisions in the same timeframe.
