Root Division was displaced from our Mission District location in June 2014 and relocated to an interim space in Mid-Market. Meanwhile, we signed a 10-year lease for a 13,000 sf stand-alone building at 1131 Mission, and are in the first phase of renovations.

The Park Forest Historical Society operates the 1950s Park Forest House Museum in an original rental townhome, furnished as it might have looked in 1948-1950. The archive collection developed by the library over 27 years, is now "homeless", stored in PODS out of town.

We have recently discovered the opening of a space in the historic Project Artaud building, located in the Mission/Potrero Hill area of San Francisco. During the open house, we found the space to be absolutely breathtaking.
