In 2005 Habitat for Humanity sought an innovative solution for the construction of a set of affordable homes in Philadelphia's historic East Parkside. Wallace Roberts & Todd, LLC (WRT) with the Energy Coordinating Agency of Philadelphia volunteered for the project.*

I was asked to design a 1200 square foot residence for a site in Ontario, OHio that their standard house would not fit on. After set backs, the buildable portion of the lot ended up being just 16' wide. In addition to the residence, the village of Ontario required a garage on site as well.
