Minnesota Vikings Training Camp

Mankato, Minnesota
Project Description

In the fall of 2004, the Minnesota Vikings sought proposals from various cities in the five-state region to host Training Camp in their communities. Greater Mankato area officials and businesses rallied together to develop a proposal and plan to keep the 40-year tradition of having Training Camp in Greater Mankato alive. Annually, Training Camp provides over a $5 million economic impact and brings over 80,000 visitors to the area. It was imperative that the community retain the camp as its number one visitor attraction. During the proposal process, ISG was called upon to provide master planning, design and digital illustration services for an exciting new camp concept on a pro bono basis. The expertise Paulsen Architects provided played an important role throughout all of the presentations and proposal review/acceptance process.
